UAP INCURSIONS ON NAVY STRIKE GROUPS

WE ARE GETTING closer and closer to the June 25th UAP Task Force deadline that will give congress an executive summary of what is continuing to plague military airspace, both on the East and West coasts of America (and globally). Whether you call them UAP, UAS, UAV, UFO, AAV or drones, the fact remains that something is engaging nuclear strike groups. Since 2017, that we are seeing reports and confirmation start to make its way into the public sphere, and the frequency of the reported activity around US Navy fleets appears to be on the increase.

It all started with confirmation of unknown objects coming into the airspace of the USS Nimitz strike groups (2004) and the USS Roosevelt (2014/15) in which strangely shaped objects such as the 40ft long ‘Tic-Tac’ that bounced around like a ping-pong ball before shooting off over the horizon in a second, or the rotating ‘flying disc’ shaped object, all caught on FLIR1 gun camera footage. Military witnesses and UN Navy pilots have since gone on record with The New York Times to speak out about ‘cubes within spheres’ that came within 50ft of an F-18, almost causing an aviation collision. This isn’t a technology that is aerodynamic, nor is it in the U.S. inventory.

In response, the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF) was officially created last August to examine “incursions by unauthorised aircraft into our training ranges or designated airspace.” A Senate-requested report via the DNI and DoD on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena is expected in the summer, despite recent claims of some agencies stonewalling and withholding data.

Six months ago the Fmr. Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, John O’Brennan made a strong reference to the UAP (UFO) videos that were declassified by the Department of Defense in April 2020. Then came the disclosure by the Fmr. Director of National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, that the DOD is tracking UAPs via satellites, Navy Pilots and Airforce Pilots. Senators of the Senate Select Committee for Intelligence (SSCI) have spoken openly about the possible threat such incursions could bring.

But what is being reported? What is being considered by the UAPTF and DOD?

The Unidentified Aerial Vehicles (UAV) (2019)

By the beginning of last week we heard about the mysterious ‘Tic-Tac’ drones that swarmed the U.S.S. Kidd in the July of 2019. They remain officially unidentified says the Chief of Naval operations.

I am aware of those sightings, and as it’s been reported, there have been other sightings by aviators in the air and by other ships not only of the United States, but other nations — and of course other elements within the US joint force.
— Adm. Michael Gilday, Chief of Naval Operations

First reported by The Drive, the incursions occurred near Clemente Island, in the same area of the Nimitz encounter in 2004. The U.S. Navy destroyers also in the area at the time included USS Rafael Peralta, USS Russell, USS John Finn and the USS Paul Hamilton, all reported sightings over a series of nights (14/15th July 2019).

Among the more dramatic entries in the logs from this incident is the one below from the USS Rafael Peralta, describing a white light hovering over the ship’s flight deck.

Despite the convoy of Navy vessels being Aegis-equipped and having some of the most sophisticated sensors to date, the objects evaded capture and remain unknown. What I found interesting was these incursions by unidentified aerial systems (UAS) across various nuclear powered vessels was a recurring theme in recent years.

The W-72 incursions (2019)

On 6th April, 2021, Mystery Wire released photos of unidentified objects that are allegedly from a UAPTF report in which the three objects remained stationary at 30k feet. These three objects, ‘Acorn’, ‘Sphere’ and ‘Metalic Blimp’ are still lacking in information with researchers unable to confirm conclusively that the VFA-32 squadron was the flight team involved.

Captured as a Navy Pilot weapon system operator (WSO) took photos on his/her iPhone. According to documentary film maker Jeremy Corbell, these photos were used as part of a classified congressional briefing by the office of navy intelligence. The incident occurred on March 04th, 2019, off the east coast of the Virginia, over the area W-72 – warning area. A single Navy fighter plane captured three separate objects in the space of 30 minutes.

The recent data, released by Jeremy Corbell, is said to come from intelligence reports that were used in briefings by the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). It is stated that on May 1st, 2020 and October 18th, 2019, reports produced classified briefings for congress by ONI, that apparently produced videos and data showing the technological abilities of these UAP. The three cases were disclosed by Corbell and Mystery Wire.

The U.S.S. Russell incursion (2019)

Off the cost of San Diego, the July of 2019, and in the same month as the drone (UAV) incursions which buzzed U.S. Navy destroyers USS Rafael Peralta, USS Russell, USS John Finn, and the USS Paul Hamilton, another reported case was used to brief congress in 2020. The reported ‘pyramid’ or ‘triangle’ shaped UAP have been captured on Navy cameras and leaked to the public. No witness testimony is currently on record for this incursion.

U.S.S. Omaha (year unspecified)

Location not specified. Year not specified. Reports are that a spherical ‘UAS’ performed ‘trans-medium’ travel, entering the water around the area of the USS Omaha. This was a third case that was reportedly used to brief congress. The Omaha was one of the vessels involved in the drone incursions of July 2019.

The Black Triangle (2019)

In December 2020, The Debrief was given access to case data obtained via the UAPTF and intelligence sources that were on classified servers (NSANET, SIPRnet) that held two reports on Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon. Most notably was mention of a clear equilateral black triangle that came up from the ocean on the east coast. The photograph, which is said to have also been taken from inside the cockpit of a military fighter jet, in a similar way to the W-72 case, depicted an UAP described as a large equilateral black triangle with spherical white “lights” in each corner. Other unconfirmed reports suggested it was the size of a football field.

Why it’s important

Government transparency is essential with regard to this phenomenon. Whether it’s Chinese drones or something more exotic, the focus should be on the fact that vehicles of unknown origin and capabilities are engaging nuclear strike groups. This is a serious issue and potential threat to national security. Hopefully, as time moves forward we can see more anonymous sources come on the record and allow the process to solidify, only then can we independently verify the data openly and officially.

With regard to the phenomenon, we need further investigation within mainstream British media. We still do not know what is flying (if anything) around sensitive nuclear facilities in the United Kingdom.  The other question that needs to be asked of the British government is whether similar events are also occurring within the vicinity of Royal Navy warships or training exercise?

In December 2020, The Debrief reported that officials who read the recent report say it primarily focused on “Unidentified Submersible Phenomena,” or “transmedium” anomalous vehicles capable of operating both underwater and in the air, similar to what was reported in the USS Omaha ‘sphere’ incursion.

It is thought that the UAP Task Force appears to be considering that the strangely shaped objects being termed as UAP, UAV, UAS, AAV etc, may be originating from deep within the world’s oceans. If “USOs,” or “unidentified submersible objects,” are using the oceans to evade the attentions of our military. This coincides with reports of trans-medium capabilities of the alleged sphere and triangle.

As more information starts to leak out it is important that people reach out to government to acknowledge and clarify what it can at the unclassified level.
