FORMER Director of National Intelligence confirms UFOs tracked by Satellites, “DECLASSIFICATION” COMING.
WHEN FORMER PRESIDENT Trump’s Director of National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, was asked by Maria Bartiromo on Fox News PrimeTime, on March 19th 2021, about UAPs ahead of the Pentagon’s upcoming report, his answer was one that could go down as a pivotal moment in the history of UAP disclosure.
Ratcliffe explained that there had been a task force in place for the past couple of years, working under the National Defence Authorization Act, and that he had wanted to get information out into the public and declassified before he left office at the end of the last administration. He went on say that he was unable to get the report down into a declassified format, something which his successor, and former Deputy National Security Adviser under President Obama, Avril Haines will be working on, ahead of the UAP Task Force report due on June 25th 2021.
The publication date was made official when former President Trump signed into law a $2.3trillion coronavirus relief and government funding bill in December 2020, within which contained the Senate Intelligence Committee's Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021. Under the title of Advanced Aerial Threats in a "committee comment" section towards the end of that report, "unidentified aerial phenomena" were addressed as follows:
“The Committee supports the efforts of the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force at the Office of Naval Intelligence to standardize collection and reporting on unidentified aerial phenomenon, any links they have to adversarial foreign governments, and the threat they pose to U.S. military assets and installations”
The committee went on to write that the report should be unclassified, but that it may include a “classified annex”.
The passing of the bill marked the start of a 180-day countdown for the Secretary of Defense (Lloyd Austin) and Director of National Intelligence (Avril Haines) to present UAP Task Force report on U.S. government knowledge of UFOs to the Congressional Intelligence and Armed Services committees.
There are a lot more sightings than have been made public, some of those have been declassified. When we talk about sightings, we’re talking about objects that have been seen by Navy or Air Force pilots, or have been picked up by satellite imagery that frankly engage in actions that are difficult to explain.
Since the official acknowledgement from the Pentagon regarding the three gun camera videos from the USS Nimitz encounters in 2004 and the USS Roosevelt events of 2014, and the witness testimonies from the pilots and deck crew involved, officials and scientists alike have yet to sufficiently explain or replicate the extreme aerial manoeuvrability of these unexplained craft at incredibly high speeds.
Ratcliffe also explained that further information on various sightings is being gathered and will be published in due course. Whether he’s implying that the forthcoming UAP Task Force report will have a good deal of substance to it, or whether this additional information will be released separately through established media outlets, such as the Washington Examiner or The New York Times, is unclear at this time. Ratcliffe also went to explain that it’s not just the odd pilot witnessing unusual objects, “we have multiple sensors that are picking up these things, and ... some of these are unexplained phenomenon, and there is actually quite a few more than have been made public.”
Naturally, questions will be asked and alternative theories put forward as has always been posited when dealing with the subject of UAPs, such as anomalous atmospheric and weather conditions or hitherto unknown advanced technology from a foreign adversary. This is something Ratcliffe admitted to Maria Bartiromo, that plausible explanations are always explored first, but was quick to follow up that a lot of information that remains unexplained may be declassified in the future, and that there have been sightings from all over the world, a comment which appeared to visibly shock the Brooklyn-born news anchor.
John Ratcliffe’s comments on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena are just the latest to be released into the public mainstream from ranked officials, and follow on from comments made by former Director of the CIA, John O’Brennan, who spoke with U.S. Economist Tyler Cowen on his podcast in December 2020.
O’Brennan was asked how he would interpret the information made public from the USS Nimitz and USS Roosevelt events to which he replied: “You try to ensure that you have as much data as possible in terms of visuals and also different types of maybe technical collection of sensors that you have at the time.” He then went on to explain “I think an important thing for analysts to do is not to go into this type of challenge either discounting certain types of possibilities or believing in advance that it is likely X, Y, or Z. You really have to approach it with an open mind, but get as much data as possible and get as much expertise as possible brought to bear.” Debunkers take note.
So while we at UAPMediaUK are among those counting down the days to the release of the UAP Task Force report, we are also very aware that expectations should be tampered. In terms of the disclosure of UAP information into the public consciousness, this is a huge step forward. Whether the public will take it on board and understand the relevance of this information remains to be seen.
I think it’s a bit presumptuous and arrogant for us to believe that there’s no other form of life anywhere in the entire universe. What that might be is subject to a lot of different views.
